The ACLJ is an organization dedicated to the defense of constitutional liberties secured by law.

Dear Friends ,
Be aware:  When the Baucus bill cleared the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday, our health care concerns immediately intensified.

Today, I need your personal help because your Senators are pivotal in this health care debate!
Using the numbers below, call Sen. Specter and Sen. Casey and ask each of them to say NO to mandatory coverage for abortions - NO to Planned Parenthood expanding its reach into our public schools - and NO to government-run health care.

  • Senator Specter:  202-224-4254
  • Senator Casey:  202-224-6324
This is important because the next step in this legislative process is critical.  Health care legislation is headed to the floors of the House and Senate - where the ultimate decisions will be made.
You should be concerned.  In its current state, the legislation is beyond troubling - it includes:
  • Provisions for mandatory coverage for abortions,
  • Opportunities for organizations like Planned Parenthood to open clinics in your children's and grandchildren's public schools,
  • And a publically funded co-op measure that will more than likely convert into a public option by the time it reaches the Senate floor.
As always, the ACLJ will stand up for YOU in this fight to protect health care, but we need your help.
The massive government take-over that is being masqueraded as health care reform is nearing enactment.  Now, more than ever, it is imperative that you stand with us in opposition to this legislation.
Call Senators Specter and Casey immediately at the numbers below and voice your opposition to government-run health care.  Thank you for your support.
  • Senator Specter:  202-224-4254
  • Senator Casey:  202-224-6324
